How it works
Each subject has two or three sets of training questions. Three practice exams and a handy study guide. You can do the training questions as many times as you want to.
When you have completed the training, you will sit a supervised, 50-minute on-line exam in the IT Training room at the Freeman Hospital.
When you pass the exam, you get a certificate from Microsoft, proving that you are a specialist in that subject. You would then move on to the next subject and complete the training and sit the exam.
To achieve the Microsoft Office Associate qualification, you need to pass Word and Excel and PowerPoint or Outlook. To achieve the Expert qualification, you need to pass Word And Excel Expert.
If you just want to improve your skills on one subject, such as Word, you can do the training, pass the exam and get your certificate. You don’t have to complete all the modules if you don’t want to. Each subject is a separate qualification.
