Quick Guide

You have created a document using document creation and now wish to Sign and Send:
  1. You must be logged in to Powerchart.
  2. In the Details tab on the right side of page:
    • Department and Lead Clinician should autopopulate. If incorrect, please choose correct option from the drop-down list.
    • You must select your name in the Signing Clinician list.
    • Select your position from the drop-down list.
  3. Click on the green Sign and Send button on bottom right of page.
You MUST be both logged in and selected as Signing Clinician for authentication to take place. Authentication changes the green button from 'Sign and Finalise' to 'Sign and Send'. If this is not done correctly, you will not be able to send the letter. Note: To sign a saved document, please follow the guidance found here.
