Outlook – Recall an email message
There may be times when you’ve sent an email to the wrong person and need to recall it.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- In Outlook, open your Sent folder
- Double-click the message to open it in a separate window
- Click on the three-dot
menu in the top right-hand side of the screen
- From the opening window select Advanced actions
- Select Recall message from the next opening window
- A Recall message window will appear asking if you want to proceed, click OK
- You will then receive a message recall notification
