Blood Tests for Phlebotomist Collection (Outpatients)
Scenario
You need to order a blood sample to be collected by a phlebotomist in outpatients.

Having navigated to the Orders for Signature screen for the test(s) you are requesting, you will be required to fill in all relevant details:
- From the Orders for Signature screen, select the order(s) in the top part of the screen.
- Complete the following details, mandatory fields are highlighted in yellow, in the bottom of the screen:
- Are you collecting the sample now? – select NO
- Collection Priority – Outpatient Phebotamy
- Reason for request – as appropriate
- Collection Date and Time – set to the date/time the sample will be taken
- Do you want to print a label? – select NO
- Lead Clinician to receive report? – as appropriate
- Click Sign:
