Using the Add shortcut to OneDrive function allows you access the SharePoint files and folders from File Explorer
Note – you need to have the OneDrive app installed
To add shortcut to My Files in OneDrive:
In SharePoint select the SharePoint site and Documents library where your folders/ files are located – you have the option of adding the shortcut for individual or the whole site files and folders
Select Add shortcut to OneDrive
A message will appear after the shortcut is created. Click on My Files to view your newly added shortcut to folders and files.
You can now view your folders and files in File Explorer via OneDrive – notice the folder has a blue arrow in the bottom left – hand corner
