Mandatory Reads Overview

Overview of Mandatory Reads

This guide will give an overview of the Mandatory reads on the new Intranet.

Overview

The mandatory reads section is a new area of the intranet. It is predominately used to inform Trust staff of important information; however it differs to the Alerts on the homepage in that you will see a notification next to the My Inbox icon when you have an unread mandatory read . The notification will persist until the mandatory read has been read.

This functionality helps the intranet team keep a count of how many people have read a specific mandatory read. This may be used for scenarios such as changes in a Trust policy.
