How to Create a Visit (New, Amend, Cancel and Reassign)

Scenario

When seeing your patients, there are a couple of options to record this activity. (Visit or Appointments).  The following guide will you so you how to record a new visit, amend the visit (date and time), cancel the visit and reassign to other colleagues.

Instructions
  • From the home page click on the Visit button
  • The Visit page will appear.

 

Number of Visits:  This area is a will show the number of visits (this week, next week and Future visits).  By select the number, the visits will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen.Visit:  This will list all the visits on that day.

Adding a New Visit
  • Select the New Visit Button and a box will appear.

The Patient Search box will appear (Visti Request Patient Search).

Type in the search box and select the Patient you would like to book a visit for.

  • Click on OK
  • The Record Visit box will appear.

NOTE In this Box details will be recorded as follows:

  • Date requested: Here you change the date and time to passed or future of the appointment.  NOTE Duration time, please check your department for these times.
  • Staff Requester: This where you would put in another staff member in. If you require to visit the patient with additional people.  Continue down the form filling out any necessary fields.
  • Clinician Assigned: This is the primary staff member i.e. this will be you.
  • Purpose of Visit: Select from the drop-down menu.  This could Initial Assessment to Follow Up.

Reason: Select from the drop-down menu.  This could be Routine or Fast track visit Referral:  Select from the drop-down menu the correct referral.  Once completed, Select OK

Cancel & Reassign
  • The visit is now made, Right Click on the Visit and a visit option menu will appear (Amend, Cancel & Reassign).
    Nine times out of ten you will select Consultation to record your visit / clinical / administrative activity.
