You need to set up the name of your Outpatient clinic in Ambulatory Organiser, then access correct Dental encounter for your patient.
Instructions
Open Powerchart.
Navigate to Ambulatory Organiser by clicking on View then selecting Ambulatory Organiser – you should also see an Ambulatory Organiser tab below View, clicking on this tab also opens Ambulatory Organiser.
Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of ‘No Resource Selected‘.
Type in the name of the clinic – if a clinician’s name, searching by surname finds the clinic quicker.
Place a tick in the box to the left of the clinic name.
Click Apply.
The clinic name will now appear to the right of Patients for:
Note – Each time you search for a new clinic it will be added to your favourites list.
A list of patient appointments for today’s clinic will pull through by default – click on the calendar ion to the right of today’s date if you need to change the date.
If you hover the mouse over the patient’s name, you will be able to see the patients demographics, ensuring you have the correct patient.
Double left click on the patient name to open up the patients dental encounter.
From now on, every time you access Ambulatory Organiser you will see a list of appointments for today’s clinic.
