Quick Guide

The Discharge Summary dashboard includes links that enable you to convert inpatient medications or add new medications for discharge.

Convert Inpatient Medications to Discharge Medications

1. Open Discharge Summary dashboard (to access)
2. Click Search and select your ward from the list.
3. In line of correct patient, click Convert in Meds column.
4. Right click on medication to be converted and select Convert to Prescription.
5. Complete fields as appropriate. You must complete the mandatory fields (highlighted in yellow) Pre-Visit Med and GP to continue.
6. Click Orders for Signature then Sign.

Add new discharge prescriptions

1. Click either Edit or Convert in Meds column.
2. Click +Add.
3. Select the type filter Discharge Meds as Rx.
4. Search and select the new medication.
5. Select Order Sentence and click Done.
6. Complete fields as appropriate. You must complete the mandatory fields (highlighted in yellow) Pre-Visit Med and GP to continue.
7. Click Orders for Signature then Sign.
