If there is more than 1 sample for the same test that is ordered at the same date and time these file into the same column/ cell in Results Review
eRecord will not automatically adjust the column width or highlight the cell to enable you to see multiple simultaneous results. This may lead to results being missed and a misinterpretation of the overall result
This particularly applies to microbiology/ virology results as a significant number of molecular and serology results have more than one component
To view multiple results either expand the relevant results column and/ or set the Microbiology tab default view to List
Expanding a Column
In the Patient Record, navigate to Results Review from the left hand menu
Locate the set of results you wish to view either in the Flowsheet tab or the specialist Microbiology tab
Hover your mouse over the line between the column headings you wish to expand, the mouse pointer will change from an arrow to a vertical double-line icon
Click and drag the column heading line to the right to expand the column
Changing the Default View
In the Patient Record, navigate to Results Review from the left hand menu
Click on the Microbiology tab to select it
Select the List button to change the default view
Results will now be displayed in date/ time order enabling you to easily identify multiple results
