How to cancel an order in the Patient Record in PowerChart from Requests/Care Plans.
- From within the patient record, on the correct encounter, click on Requests/ Care Plans to view orders.
- Make sure the Display filter is set to either ‘All Active Orders‘ or ‘All Orders (All Statuses)‘.
- Locate the order that you wish to cancel in the list of orders and either:
- rightclick the order and select Cancel/ DC.
- click on the black tick to the left of the order.
- Complete the details at the bottom of the screen, e.g. the reason for cancellation.
- Click Orders for Signature.
- Click Sign to the bottom right of the screen.
