This guide shows how to add problems in the Problems & Diagnosis in the Dental Hospital.

Add a new problem in the wokflow
  1. With the patient record open, navigate to the Dental Workflow tab and then to the Diagnosis and Problems component.
  2. In the ‘Add as’ drop down select ‘Chronic’.
  3. Type the name of the problem into the search box.
  4. As you type, matching results will display. Select the appropriate item from the list.
  5. The system will automatically update the classification to ‘Patient Stated’ and the confirmation to ‘History Of’.
Add a new problem from the Dental OP folder
  1. With the patient record open, navigate to the Dental Workflow tab and then to the Diagnosis and Problems component.
  2. Click the Diagnosis & Problems header.
  3. Alternatively, click Diagnosis & problems in the main (blue) menu.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Select Folders.
  6. Select the Dental (OP) folder.
  7. Select the relevant category folder.
  8. Double click the relevant problem.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click refresh.
  11. The system will automatically update the classification to ‘Patient Stated’ and the confirmation to ‘History Of’.
Modify a problem
  1. With the patient record open, navigate to the Dental Workflow tab and then to the Diagnosis and Problems component.
  2. Select the problem you wish to modify.
  3. A panel will pop out from the side, select Modify at the top.
  4. Additional details can be added such as onset date or comments.
  5. To cancel or resolve the problem update the ‘Status’ dropdown accordingly.
