How to discontinue a repeating task or activity:

  1. Open the patient record and go to the Requests/Care Plans section.
  2. Find the related order.  
    Note, orders with this icon are part of a Care Plan – you may want to review the Care Plan and/or discontinue the all of the Care Plan
  3. Right click and select Cancel/DC.
  4. Complete Ordering clinician details if prompted.
  5. Select a Discontinue reason.
  6. Click Orders For Signature.
  7. Sign.
