Recording Observations from Bedside Medical Devices
How to record information from Bedside Medical Devices such as monitors or vents in the patient record.
- In the Assessments/ Fluid Balance screen, navigate to the section you need to record information in e.g. Vital Signs.
- Double-click in the blue area at the top of the column to activate it.
- Information in the section you have activated that is being outputted by any connected device will appear in the relevant fields e.g. Heart Rate.
- Check the output as it appears on screen against the device display.
- Click on the green tick to sign.
