4. Updating the patient status
How to update the patient status within Ambulatory Organiser.
The patient must be Checked In prior to completing these steps. If the status is Confirmed they have not been checked in.
From the List tab in Ambulatory Organiser with a Resource selected:
- Click in the status column for the patient you wish to change status for.
- A dropdown list will display – Only select one of the following:
- Patient ready to be seen
- With AHP/Technician/Other
- Investigations/Diagnostics
- Notes Review/With Clinician
- The available statuses are flexed according to the previous action e.g. once the appointment has been Checked In, the statuses of Confirmed and Checked In will no longer display in the options.
