How to create Auto Text to insert a pre-written piece of text into the patient record:

  1. Navigate to your Workflow page (found within patient record).
  2. Go to a text entry section (e.g. Clinical Summary, Examination Findings, Handover Details…).
  3. Select the Manage AutoText button immediately above the text box on the far right of the formatting options bar:
  4. The Manage Auto Text window will open. Select the blue plus button at the top left.
  5. Give your Autotext a name. This must start with an unusual character – it is recommended you use @ e.g. @handover.
  6. Add the content of the Autotext to the field below.
  7. Save.
