How to document when a medication dose cannot be given in the Patient Record
  1. To record when the scheduled dose of a medication has not been given, click on the dose box to open the drug administration pop-up window 
  1. Tick the Not Given tick box at the bottom of the window
  2. In the Reason mandatory field, select the appropriate reason from the drop down
  3. If the reason you have been unable to give the scheduled dose is not listed, select Other (Record Comments) then click the Comments button to add the details
  4. Sign the documentation using the green tick in the top left hand corner of the window
