This first time you log in to your account you will need to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using the Microsoft Authenticator App. This provides an extra layer of security and helps to keep the patient information in the system safe.

Prior to proceeding you will need to install the Microsoft Authenticator App on your mobile phone by downloading it from the Play Store or App Store. The correct App looks like this:

First time login and Authenticator App set up

On your PC:

  1. Go to https://portal.myhealthcall.co.uk/
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. Click Continue
  4. A QR code will be displayed

Next, on your mobile phone:

  1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator App
  2. Select Scan a QR code

  1. Scan the QR code displayed on your PC screen
  2. Your Health Call account will be added.
  3. Select your account to regenerate one-time password code

Next, on your PC:

  1. Enter the one-time password code and click Continue
  2. Next a Recovery Code will be provided. This will be needed if you need to log in to your account and you do not have access to the authenticator app.
  3. Keep this code in a safe and secure place for future reference.
  4. Tick the box next to I have safely stored this code
  5. Click Continue.

The set up for the Authenticator App is now complete.

Next time you log in you will need to use the Authenticator App to generate a code. The steps for this are outlined in this guide.
