How to document the administration of a dose of medications in the Drug Chart. This applies to scheduled, un-scheduled or PRN.
It is essential to read the full instructions and check when a dose was last given before proceeding.
- From the Drug Chart, click the dose administration box for the drug you want to record.
- Complete/check the details in the recording window as required.
- Click sign and then refresh the drug chart.
- The amount given will be recorded at the specified time.
