Restore a previous version of a document

  1. In the SharePoint site homepage
  2. Select Documentation in the left – hand side navigation pane
  3. Select the file by ticking the radio bullet
  4. Select the More Actions button either in the toolbar or to the right – hand side of the document
  5. Select Version history

  1. From the opening Version history window, hover your mouse over the date link of an earlier version then click the drop – down arrow

  1. Select Restore

  1. From the opening window, select OK – SharePoint will create a copy and make this the latest version

  1. Click X to close the Version history window
