Ordering a Lung Function Test on an IP Encounter

Your patient has attended hospital as an Inpatient and you need to order a lung function test for them.

In the patient record in the blue left side menu:

Either:

• Navigate to your Workflow tab and select New Order Entry:

Or: 

• Navigate to the Requests/Care Plans and select +Add:

1. 1. In the Search field, type Lung Function
   2. Click the relevant order in the search results:

3. If you are using Requests/Care Plans: after clicking the relevant order, the Orders section of the Requests/Care Plans area will open (See No. 4). If you are using the Workflow: the order will appear as a numerical icon in the basket in the top right of your screen. Click the basket, select the relevant order, and click Sign. You will then be transported to a new window (see No. 4 below):

4.  Select the relevant order, complete the fields as appropriate and click Sign:

5. Refresh the screen
