How to Start and Discontinue Phototherapy

To start documenting Phototherapy:

1. Navigate to the Procedures/Events section from the left menu
2. Click ‘Add‘ under the Procedures section
3. You can search or scroll down for Phototherapy
4. Complete the form
5. Save & Close

Note: As BadgerNet considers Phototherapy both a procedure and a device you can also document it in the Drugs, Lines, Devices menu by clicking the + button under the Active Devices section and choosing Phototherapy from the menu.

To discontinue Phototherapy:

1. Navigate to Procedures/Events
2. Click on the Phototherapy listing under Procedures (this will open the same form as when started)
3. Document a discontinue date/time
4. Save & Close

Note: As BadgerNet considers Phototherapy as both a procedure and device you can also document a discontinue date/time in the Drugs, Lines, Devices menu AND also in the Nursing Care section using the Hourly Checks button.
