To transfer a patient to Transitional Care:

1. Click Nursing Care from the menu on the left
2. Click the Start New Care Period button to open the Shift Summary form (this is the standard nursing handover)
3. Change the location of care to Transitional Care and click authorise next to the ‘from Nurse‘ option
4. Sign in
5. Save & Close
6. Navigate to the grey Cot Manager tab at the top of the screen and select a Transitional Care cot
7. Pick your patient from the list to transfer them to a transitional care cot
