Logging a Safeguarding/Social/Child Protection issue

 

  1. Navigate to the Procedures/Events section on the left hand menu
  2. Click ‘Add‘ in the Parents/Social section and select Social Issues/Child Protection from the search menu
  3. Complete form
  4. Save & Close
    Note: Even though form has been Saved & Closed it can be re-opened to change or add information at any time i.e. to add social worker information.

    Note: The next part of the process is only relevant for go live and for a short time after, eventually this guide will be updated to remove this section and an active clinical alert will not be needed.

  5. After you have filled out the social issues/child protection form then navigate to the Patient Summary section on the left hand menu
  6. Click the ‘+‘ in the Active clinical alerts section
  7. Complete the form to document the safeguarding issue again
  8. Save & Close
