Quick Guide

  1. Open the IT service portal either from the icon on your Desktop or via the intranet page.
  2. Log in with your Trust username and password.
  3. Click on Report Something.
  4. Choose Clinical Applications (Faults) from the menu on the left hand side.
  5. Click on Medicus Issue.
  6. Please complete the form to explain the issue that you are having.
  7. At the bottom of the form, there is a paperclip icon for attaching any screen shots, snips (see below for guidance on how to use Windows snipping tool) or email to help demonstrate the issue.
  8. Click submit. Please be aware that the submit button is BEFORE the paperclip icon if you want to attach any screenshots.
 

Snipping Tool

Pin snipping tool to taskbar for quick access

  1. Click on the search field located in the bottom left hand side of your screen.
  2. Type in snipping tool.
  3. From the right hand column, click on pin to taskbar.

Using snipping tool

  1. Click on Snipping Tool icon (looks like a pair of scissors) in taskbar to launch application.
  2. Click on New.
  3. Place cursor to top left side of area to capture.
  4. Click and drag to bottom right side of area to capture. Release mouse key.
  5. Either copy (ctrl c) and paste (crtl p) or can save as a file by clicking on 'file' in top left corner of application window.
