1. From Baby record:

2. Within the Birth section, click on View Maternity record

3. This will open the birth mother’s BadgerNet record and the relevant pregnancy record (if the woman has a BadgerNet Maternity record).  

4. From the mother’s record  

5. From the left menu select the Administration section, click on the relevant baby (in case of multiples) to display the Episode History page

6. Then Select for viewing the neonatal record required.  The Royal Victory Infirmary (Newcastle) is the Trust’s neonatal unit on RVI Ward 35.

NB: The functionality to easily move between the mother’s pregnancy record and the neonatal intensive care baby record is restricted for those records that are unlinked for safeguarding reasons.   

Please ensure that extra care and diligence is applied if unlinked records are accessed for clinical purposes to avoid all possible data breaches.
