How to request an emergency theatre procedure in Powerchart.

1. Open the patient record of the patient that requires an emergency procedure.
2. Select Requests/ Care Plans from the menu on the left.

3. Click the +Add button to the top left of the screen.

4. In the search window, search for ’emergency theatre’.

5. Select ‘Emergency Theatre Request’.
6. In the form that opens, complete the mandatory (yellow) fields as appropriate.
7. Sign the form using the green tick at the top left .
8. In the orders screen, Sign the order using the button at the bottom right .
9. Refresh the screen.
