How to configure tabs, components and summary tab settings in any Workflow screen

Adding, Removing and Re-Ordering tabs

  1. Across the top of the workflow screen there are several tabs. Unwanted tabs can be removed by clicking the cross on the tab next to the tab name
  1. Tabs can be added to the screen by clicking the plus button to the right of the open tab names. All available workflow tabs for the current workflow will be displayed; selecting a tab will add it to the main workflow view as a new tab to the right of any existing tabs.
  1. To change the template tab display order, click and hold the mouse button down on the tab name you want to move. Drag the tab to a new position at the top of the workflow screen.

Please note: the tab that displays on the left is the tab that you will see first on opening the workflow.

Customising the component menu

  1. If the tab you are working in has a list of components displayed in the Workflow navigator menu on the left of the screen you can re-order the list if necessary.
  1. Click and hold the component you want to move. You can now drag the component to a new position on the list.
  1. You can show or hide which components are displayed on the current tab by clicking the menu drop down button at the top right of the tab and selecting the Components menu option
  1. Ticking or unticking a component will display or hide it on the current tab.

Customising Summary Tabs

  1. For summary tabs such as Situation Background, Assessment, Recommendation or Critical Care Summary you can change the layout of the components of the tab by selecting Drag and Drop from the configuration drop-down menu at the top right of the tab.
  1. You will now be able to move individual components to a new position by clicking and holding on the component title bar and moving the component
  1. Turn off drag and drop by reselecting it from the configuration drop down menu
  2. You can change the colour of a component by selecting the component configuration menu on the right hand side of the component title bar

Workflow screens can be configured to display information to your own preferences. This guide is applicable to any of the workflow screens in Powerchart.
