From within the Patient record – ensure you are in the correct encounter by opening from Ambulatory Organiser.

1. Click on Assessments/ Fluid Balance in the dark grey menu on the left hand side of the screen
2. Click on Vital Signs in either the Adult Quick View or Paediatric Quick View Navigator Band on the left
3. Double click in the blue area at the top of the appropriate time column to activate it

4. Enter data in the fields as appropriate
5. Sign to save data entered using the green tick to the top left
6. Data entered will now be showing in the Vital Signs component of the Outpatient workflow

The NEWS score isn’t electronically recorded therefore current practice for calculating the NEWS score needs to continue.
