How to complete a Radiology order in PowerChart

1. From the ‘Requests/ Care Plans‘ left menu item in the patient record, click the blue +Add button to the top left.
2. Search for the relevant Radiology order and click the order once to select it
3. Click Done in the bottom right hand corner
4. Complete the Relevant Clinical Details field – this must contain sufficient medical data to enable the practitioner to decide whether there is sufficient net benefit to the exposure (continue in the Additional reason for request section if necessary)
5. Complete all other required fields 
6. Sign

If the patient is female and of child bearing potential complete the additional steps below:

1. Is the patient pregnant? – Select Yes, No or Not Known
2. LMP – Enter the date of the patient’s Last Menstrual Period  
3. Sign
