Public Phrases are added by a system administrator and can be used by all staff without needing to add this to your personal auto text library.

Finding a Public Phrase
  1. Navigate to your Workflow page (found within patient record).
  2. Go to a text entry section (e.g. Clinical Summary, Examination Findings, Handover Details…).
  3. Select the Manage Auto Text icon immediately above the text box on the far right of the formatting options bar.
  4. The Manage Auto Text window will open.
  5. Select the Public Phrases tab.
  6. All public phrases are listed and can be browsed or searched.
  7. Select an item to view a preview.
Using a Public Phrase
  1. Go to the text box or document you wish to insert the auto-text into.
  2. Type the trigger for the public phrase (e.g. @DHtreatmentplan).
  3. With the required abbreviation selected, hit enter or double-click to insert the auto-text.
