If you select your patient record from within Ambulatory Organiser, this will ensure you are working with the correct encounter for that visit.

  1. Click on a Patient name to open the Patient record
  2. The correct Outpatient encounter is now showing on the Patient record (top right of the screen)
Please note, ordering tests or prescribing on the wrong patient encounter causes significant problems. For example, patients may miss blood tests or be unable to be given their medications in pharmacy.
