How to document and manage allergy information in the patient record

From the Workflow:

  1. Select the Allergies and Adverse Reactions component 
  2. In the search box on the right, search for the specific allergy
  3. Select the appropriate allergy from the list
  4. In the more details pop-up window on the right, select the appropriate Severity from the drop down list
  5. For Food or other non-drug allergies the type must be selected from the Category drop down
  6. Add reactions if known
  7. Comments can be added in the Comments field
  8. Click Save
