Documenting Allergies
How to document and manage allergy information in the patient record
From the Workflow:
- Select the Allergies and Adverse Reactions component
- In the search box on the right, search for the specific allergy
- Select the appropriate allergy from the list
- In the more details pop-up window on the right, select the appropriate Severity from the drop down list
- For Food or other non-drug allergies the type must be selected from the Category drop down
- Add reactions if known
- Comments can be added in the Comments field
- Click Save
