Before completing checks:

1. Ensure Lines/Drains/Tubes component is visible in your workflow.
2. Select the relevant tube in the Tubes/Drains section.
3. Check that the NG Tube has been signed as safe to use.
4. Check the recorded Length of NG Tube at nostril .

Recording completion of safety checks:

1. Go to Assessments/ Fluid Balance
2. Navigate to the Gastrointestinal Tubes section.
3. Double click in the Activity section and select Ongoing Care.
   
4. Select ‘Yes’ to the Safe Placement Checks question:
   
5. Complete the Safe Placement Checks assessment:
