How to create an envelope template for letters

At some point you may need to send a letter out to a patient, you can create an envelope template document which prints the address details on to the envelope

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. From your OneDrive homepage, click on the nine-dot button in the top left-hand side of the screen
  2. Select Word
  3. From the opening Word blank page, select Layout, then Size, and then Custom Page Size
  1. In the Paper size window, set:
  1. Click OK
  1. Type in address, change Spacing After to 0pt
  1. Move the address details to location needed
  1. Click file name and change file name – this is now your template
  1. Close the template document which will now be saved in your OneDrive documents
Adding new address details
  1. Open your template document
  2. Type new address details
  3. Close document – address details automatically save
Printing the envelope
  1. With template document open, click File
  2. Click Print
  1. From the opening Print window click More Settings
  1. From the Paper size drop-down, select DL Envelope
  2. Ensure envelope is inserted in the printer, then select Print
