How to document the end of a bag for a Continuous/ Titratable drug infusion.
Go to the Drug Chart
Click the End Bag button for the medication you wish to end
Enter the final infused amount
Sign and Refresh the screen
The medication will now show as discontinued and will be greyed out on the chart
Please note: the end bag button will only work if the prescription duration has been set to bags e.g. 2 bags. If the prescription duration is set to anything else e.g. days or hours the button does not need to be used.
