How to document the end of a bag for a Continuous/ Titratable drug infusion.
Go to the Drug Chart.
Click the End Bag button for the medication you wish to end:
Enter the final infused amount.
Sign and Refresh the screen.
The medication will now show as discontinued and will be greyed out on the chart.
Please note: the end bag button will only work if the prescription duration has been set to bags e.g. 2 bags. If the prescription duration is set to anything else e.g. days or hours the button does not need to be used.
