Quick Guide

This guide shows how to link an invasive device to a pre-authorised result. Please note, the pre-authorised result must be added first using the Add infection button.

1. With a patient open, select the Infections tab.
2. Find the relevant result and select the Infection Entities icon.
3. Select Add infection entity.
4. Select the Devices tab.
5. Click the Add Entity to Infection button.
6. Click Close.
7. Select the Devices tab in the record.
8. The Infection details icon  will now display next to the device name.
