What are Digital Skills?
Digital Skills are defined as a range of abilities to use digital devices, communication applications, and networks to access and manage information. These skills allow individual’s to create and share digital content and communicate and collaborate in life, work, learning and social circles.
Individual’s digital skills level are unique, some may have entry – level skills meaning they would benefit by developing those skills on a tailored entry level training course, whilst another individual’s skills may be at the advanced range of digital skills, and would benefit from developing their skills further in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics etc.
Why is having a good level of Digital Skills important?
It will allow you to work well in a connected economy and society. You will have a good/ high level of confidence and transferable skills which will enable you to progress in work and everyday life.
