Overview

Each column on the whiteboard contains symbols representative of data sent from eRecord to the whiteboard or updated manually from the whiteboard itself.
Outlined below are the symbols and their meanings.

Display Settings

Tap on the patient name for a sidebar to set the line colour, a similar name flag, or a pseudonym

Bay Colour is by patient gender, mixed bays are grey.

Status Bar

The status bar at bottom of screen allows for notifications (currently not in use), page refresh and toggling between day and night mode

eObs and Deteriorating Patients

Observation data is taken and then entered into the eObservations tablet. An algorithm is applied and a score rendered. This data is sent to eRecord and to the whiteboard.

Tapping on the EWS column will display the patient’s latest observations

Deterioration Alert

 If the score falls within a certain range, the patient is deemed to be deteriorating and indication of this is subsequently displayed on the eRescue Whiteboards as two symbols underneath the latest eObs risk rating. An example of this is below:

Deterioration Alert

The icons at the bottom represent the eRecord Nursing and Responder Powerforms; these require completing by clinical staff as a response to the detection of deterioration. Icons displaying in red mean that the forms haven’t been completed whereas green icons indicate that they have been completed.
