If it\u2019s decided following admission that a patient requires a theatre procedure, then a theatre appointment will be required for THE CURRENT ENCOUNTER, a NEW ENCOUNTER MUST NOT BE CREATED<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Open SchApptBook<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Select the Appointment<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n
  3. Search for the Appointment Type <\/strong>and select the THEATRES ELECTIVE INPATIENT<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Appointment Location \u2013 select the theatre group where the procedure will take place<\/li>\n
  5. Patient Name \u2013 click the ellipsis (\u2026) to search for your patient<\/li>\n
  6. In the bottom part of the screen YOU MUST SELECT THEIR CURRENT ACTIVE INPATIENT ENCOUNTER<\/span> \u2013 Click OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Select the Primary Surgeon<\/li>\n
  8. Complete the Priority<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Add any Additional Comments<\/li>\n
  10. Click the Move <\/strong>button<\/li>\n
  11. Search for and select the procedure being performed<\/li>\n
  12. Complete any required fields and click OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. Select the appropriate date, theatre and procedure appointment time<\/li>\n
  14. Click the Schedule<\/strong> button<\/li>\n
  15. Check the Theatre Schedule Information is correct and click OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
  16. Click the Confirm <\/strong>button<\/li>\n
  17. Check the details on the Confirm Summary before clicking OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
