How to Create a Patient List within CareCompass<\/h1>\r\n

Creating a Patient List within CareCompass to help manage patient information recording on the ward(s) that you work on more easily.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

<\/i> Please note:\u00a0this guide assumes that you have already established a clinical relationship with the patient(s) on your list. For more information see\u00a0Establishing Relationships<\/a><\/div>\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      1. Click List Maintenance:<\/strong> \"\"<\/li>\r\n
      2. In the opening Modify Patient Lists <\/strong>window select, New:<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

        1. In the Patient List type window, select Location<\/strong>, then Next:<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

          1. In the Location Patient List window, select Encounter Types<\/strong>, then in the right-hand column, place ticks in the following four<\/strong> encounter types:<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n

              • \r\n
                  \r\n
                • Day Case<\/strong> (A)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
                • Inpatient (B)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
                • Regular Day (C)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
                • Regular Night (D):<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

                  1. Click Locations<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                  2. In the right-hand column, click on the +<\/strong> button to the left of Locations<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                  3. Click on the + <\/strong>button to the left \u2013 hand side of the hospital location.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                  4. Click on the + <\/strong>button to the left \u2013 hand side of the hospital name.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                  5. Place a tick the box to the left \u2013 hand side of the Ward number.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                  6. Click Finish:<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                    1. The ward number now appears in the Available Lists <\/strong>column of the Modify Patients List window, click <\/strong>to highlight ward.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                    2. Click the right arrow in the centre of the window to pull the ward across into the Available list<\/strong>s.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                    3. Click OK:<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                      1. The ward number will now be showing in the Patient List field of the CareCompass homepage \u2013 the patients currently admitted on the ward will be showing:<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
