How to add on extra lab tests to a blood sample that has already been sent to the lab.<\/p>\n

  1. From within the patient record, on the correct encounter, select +Add <\/strong>on the Requests\/Care Plans<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  2. Search for add on<\/strong> and press enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on Add on lab test – Blood Sciences<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. A decision support window opens. Please read and action as appropriate. When finished, click on OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Done<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Fill in order details as appropriate. In the “Specimen number (if known)” field, please enter the Accession number<\/strong> if known, otherwise, enter unknown<\/strong> or most recent request<\/strong> and the lab will assign.<\/li>\n
