How to Create a Visit (New, Amend, Cancel and Reassign)<\/h1>\n

When seeing your patients, there are a couple of options to record this activity. (Visit or Appointments).\u00a0 The following guide will you so you how to record a new visit, amend the visit (date and time), cancel the visit and reassign to other colleagues.<\/p>\n

  • From the home page\u00a0click<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0Visit button
    \n\"\"<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • The\u00a0Visit\u00a0<\/strong>page will appear.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Number of Visits:\u00a0 <\/strong>This area is a will show the number of visits (this week, next week and\u00a0Future visits).\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>By select the number, the visits will be listed on the\u00a0left-hand side of the screen<\/strong>.Visit:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This will list all the visits on that day.<\/p>\n

    Adding a New Visit <\/div>\n

    • Select the\u00a0New Visit<\/strong> Button and a box will appear.

      The Patient Search box will appear (Visti Request Patient Search).<\/p>\n

      Type in the search box and select the Patient you would like to book a visit for.<\/p>\n

      • Click on OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • The\u00a0Record Visit box\u00a0<\/strong>will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        NOTE<\/strong> In this Box details will be recorded as follows:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Date requested:\u00a0<\/strong>Here you change the date and time to passed or future of the appointment.\u00a0\u00a0NOTE<\/strong>\u00a0Duration time, please check your department for these times.<\/li>\n
        • Staff Requester:<\/strong>\u00a0This where you would put in another staff member in. If you require to visit the patient with additional people. \u00a0Continue down the form filling out any necessary fields.<\/li>\n
        • Clinician Assigned:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the primary staff member i.e. this will be you.<\/li>\n
        • Purpose of Visit:<\/strong>\u00a0Select from the drop-down menu.\u00a0 This could Initial Assessment to Follow Up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Reason:<\/strong>\u00a0Select from the drop-down menu.\u00a0 This could be Routine or Fast track visit\u00a0Referral:<\/strong>\u00a0 Select from the drop-down menu the correct referral.\u00a0 Once completed,\u00a0Select OK<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Cancel & Reassign<\/div>\n

          • The visit is now made,\u00a0Right Click on the Visit\u00a0<\/strong>and a visit option menu will appear (Amend, Cancel & Reassign).
            \nNine times out of ten you will select Consultation<\/strong>\u00a0to record your visit \/ clinical \/ administrative activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
