Ordering a Dental X-ray<\/h1>\r\n\r\n
Scenario<\/div> During an Outpatient consultation, you need to order an X-ray for your patient.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Instructions<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
In the blue menu<\/strong> on the left hand-side of the screen, select Workflow.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
In the workflow, click on the Dental\u00a0tab<\/strong> and then New Order Entry<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n
In the search field, type in XR Dental<\/strong> or the name of the XR order.<\/li>\r\n
Find and select<\/strong> the order<\/li>\r\n
Your order<\/strong> will now be placed in the order shopping basket.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
<\/p>\r\n
<\/i> Repeat steps 3 to 5 if you need to order more than one x-ray for this patient. After selecting each item the counter on the shopping basket will increase.<\/div>\r\n\r\n
Click the order shopping basket <\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The Orders for Signature window opens, click Sign<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
In the opening Orders for Signature page, if you see a blue circle with a white cross inside, click<\/strong> on the order – this means there are missing details that need to be completed before you can sign the order.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

<\/i> To complete the details for multiple orders at the same time click the first order then drag to highlight multiple orders. This will allow you to complete the fields for both orders simultaneously<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The order details section will appear, complete the mandatory details<\/strong> which are highlighted in yellow, also complete all the appropriate non mandatory yellow fields.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
