{"id":6846,"date":"2023-12-24T20:35:37","date_gmt":"2023-12-24T20:35:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=6846"},"modified":"2024-08-24T19:56:25","modified_gmt":"2024-08-24T19:56:25","slug":"document-creation-copy-a-table-from-document-store","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=6846","title":{"rendered":"Copy a Table from a Document in Document Store"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li>Open the letter in document store and click on <strong>PDF<\/strong> in the document bar at top of letter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Highlight<\/strong> the table by dragging mouse across the text and press\u00a0<strong>Ctrl C<\/strong> to copy the table.<\/li>\n<li>Paste the table into an open Microsoft Word document: place cursor in document and press <strong>Ctrl V<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You now need to convert the table.\n<ol>\n<li>Select the text.<\/li>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>Insert<\/strong> in top grey menu bar.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the drop down arrow from the <strong>Table<\/strong> menu and select\u00a0<strong>Convert Text to Table.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>number of columns.<\/strong> and select or type the\u00a0<strong>symbol<\/strong> that separates the columns (i.e. full colon symbol).<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> and the text will be converted to a Microsoft Word table.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the full table then press\u00a0<strong>Ctrl C\u00a0<\/strong>or right click and choose copy from menu.<\/li>\n<li>In Powerchart, open the document that you wish to paste the table into and press\u00a0<strong>Ctrl V<\/strong> or right click and choose paste form the menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click inside the table and the table menu will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>Table Properties<\/strong>.
