When a DNACPR Resuscitation plan has been documented, it will be clear in the banner bar if this needs to be countersigned by a senior clinician. Follow these steps to countersign a DNACPR decision:<\/p>\n

  1. Click on Treatment Escalation Plan<\/strong> in the blue menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Scroll down to the “Activities” section and select the most recent Treatment Escalation Plan and Resuscitation Status form<\/strong>, then click on the Modify button<\/strong> at the top right to review the details recorded in the form.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the Signing section<\/strong> when you are satisfied with the contents of the other sections.<\/li>\n
  4. Select Countersign now<\/strong> and add your details<\/strong> to the mandatory fields in the Senior Signatory section.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the green tick<\/strong> in the top left to sign the form.<\/li>\n
  6. Go to Document Creation<\/strong> and generate a DNACPR Form once the powerform has been Countersigned. The steps for this process can be found in this guide:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
