This guide shows how to view Allergies in the patient’s record via PowerChart. There are multiple ways to view allergy information, as detailed below:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Demographics Bar<\/div><\/p>\r\n

  1. Open a patient record.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  2. Allergies<\/strong> are displays in bold text in the middle of the blue bar <\/strong>at the top of patient record.<\/li>\r\n
  3. Click here to open a window displaying more information:<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    Workflow<\/div><\/p>\r\n
      \r\n
    1. Open a patient record.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
    2. In any workflow screen, select the Allergies and Adverse Reactions<\/strong> component from the light grey menu on the left.<\/li>\r\n
    3. Click<\/strong> an allergy to view more information.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
      Doctors Worklist<\/div>\r\n
        \r\n
      1. Open Doctors Worklist.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
      2. Allergies are displayed in the Allergies<\/strong> column.<\/li>\r\n
      3. Click<\/strong> in the column to view more information.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
        CareCompass<\/div>\r\n
          \r\n
        1. Open CareCompass.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
        2. The word ‘Allergies’<\/strong> is displayed below the patient’s name.<\/li>\r\n
        3. Hover<\/strong> the mouse here to see more information.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
          Great North Care Record<\/div>\r\n

          1. In the patient record, select Great North Care Record<\/strong> in the blue menu.<\/li>\r\n
          2. Allergies<\/strong> will be listed in the following sections:\r\n
              \r\n
            • Allergies, Drug Risks\/Warnings<\/li>\r\n
            • GP Records > Allergies and Adverse Reactions<\/li>\r\n
            • Community > All Views > Allergies and Adverse
              Reactions<\/li>\r\n
            • Mental Health > CNTW Records > Allergies and
              Adverse Reactions<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
