{"id":24762,"date":"2026-07-28T13:09:32","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T13:09:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=24762"},"modified":"2026-07-28T13:11:40","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T13:11:40","slug":"systmone-how-to-search-for-a-patient-in-systmone","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=24762","title":{"rendered":"SystmOne How to Search for A Patient in SystmOne"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>How to search for a patient in SystmOne:<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways to Search for a patient in SystmOne: <strong>Recent Patient<\/strong> and <strong>Non Recent Patients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recent Patient<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the patient tab in the top left corner of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and hover over the \u201c<strong>Recent Patients<\/strong>\u201d menu.\u00a0 This will open a list of patients who have recently had their records opened.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the patient\u2019s name to open their record.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Non Recent Patients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the patient\u2019s record has not been opened recently, you can search for it.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the patient tab in the top left corner of the screen.\u00a0 (Alternatively you can press F10 on the keyboard or select the search icon in the top left corner).<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and click \u201c<strong>Quick Patient Search<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li>\n<li>A window will open for you to search for the patient in.\u00a0 Click on advanced search and check the box \u201c<strong>include deducted patients<\/strong>\u201c.\u00a0 Including deducted patients will include patients who have been registered at NUTH in the past, but are not currently receiving care.<\/li>\n<li>Type in the patient\u2019s details into the relevant search fields (Name, House Number, Road, Postcode, Date of Birth) and press \u201c<strong>Search<\/strong>\u201c.Select the correct patient from the list and their patient record will open.\u00a0 You will be able to see the patient is open when their details show in a box in the top right corner of your screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to search for a patient in SystmOne: There are two ways to Search for a patient in SystmOne: Recent Patient and Non Recent Patients Recent Patient Click the patient tab in the top left corner of the screen.
