Where to Find the Menus<\/div>\n

This guide will help to make text within Windows easier to read using a variety of tools.<\/p>\n

Before you can change your Accessibility Settings, you will need to find your Accessibility options.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the windows button in the bottom of your toolbar<\/li>\n
  2. Click “All<\/strong>” in the top right corner.<\/li>\n
  3. Scroll down to Settings<\/strong> and click on it.\u00a0 This should open the Settings window.<\/li>\n
  4. Scroll down the Settings window until you find the “Accessibility Preferences<\/strong>” section<\/li>\n
  5. Click on “More Accessibility Settings<\/strong>” to see all the different accessibility options.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Increasing Text Size<\/div>\n

    • To adjust the size of text, apps, and other items, select the\u00a0Start <\/strong>button, then select\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Accessibility<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Text size<\/strong>. Use the slider next to\u00a0Text size<\/strong>\u00a0to make just the text on your screen larger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • To scale up everything on your screen, select the\u00a0Start <\/strong>button, then select\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0System<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Display<\/strong>, and change the\u00a0Scale<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down menu, select the value to a larger percentage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • If there’s not enough contrast between the elements on your screen, try using a high contrast theme. Select the\u00a0Start <\/strong>button, then select\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Accessibility<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Contrast themes<\/strong>, select one of the options in the drop-down menu next to\u00a0Contrast themes<\/strong>, and select\u00a0Apply<\/strong>. You can select between\u00a0Aquatic<\/strong>,\u00a0Desert<\/strong>,\u00a0Dusk<\/strong>, and\u00a0Night sky<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
