and click on this workflow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24169\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-19-110206.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1919\" height=\"721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-19-110206.png 1919w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-19-110206-300x113.png 300w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-19-110206-1024x385.png 1024w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-19-110206-768x289.png 768w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-19-110206-1536x577.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1919px) 100vw, 1919px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Caring for the Dying workflow contains the following elements.\u00a0 All should have useful functions in managing the patient through the final stages of their life.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Patient Information &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Provides high level information on the patient.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Allergies and Adverse Reactions &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Shows all patient allergies and reactions.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Emergency Contact Information &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Shows patient&#8217;s emergency contacts, which will allow you to be in contact with family or loved ones throughout the process.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Clinical Notes &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Clinical notes shows a list of all forms\/notes completed in relation to that patient.\u00a0 To view the contents of a form, click on the line and a menu should appear from the right hand side of the screen showing the information gathered from the note\/form.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>New Order Entry &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Allows clinical staff to order PRN medication, tests or any other orders which will improve the patient&#8217;s quality of life.\u00a0 Also can be used to initiate the Caring for the Dying Patient Care Plans<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Medications and Medical Devices &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Shows a summary of the devices and medications ordered for a patient.\u00a0 The items are categorised into the following groups (Scheduled, Continuous, PRN\/Unscheduled Available, Administered Last 24 Hours, Suspended, Discontinued Last 24 Hours)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>BioChemistry &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Shows a summary of all lab work, chemical results and bloodwork for the patient.\u00a0 This allows you to monitor inflammatory markers within the patient.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Comfort Observations &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>This will show a summary of the data collected by the e-Obs Comfort Observations machine.\u00a0 For more info on this, please refer to [insert guide hyperlink here]<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Care for the Dying Patient Forms\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>&#8211;<\/em><\/strong> Click on the plus button to access all of the Caring for the Dying Patient forms.\u00a0 This includes the initial assessments for both nurses and clincians and the daily reassessment form.<\/p>\n<p>The workflow also allows you to generate a &#8220;End of Shift Nursing Note CFTD&#8221;
